Arizona
Department of Transportation - US 191
GREENLEE COUNTY
LINE TO THE GILA RIVER
Using
our knowledge of multi-disciplinary problem solving,
SAGE is assisting the Arizona Department of
Transportation (ADOT) and the design team to fully
comply with complex environmental regulations.
SAGE is managing the environmental coordination and
erosion control plans for this rural segment of US 191
in southeast Arizona. This involves coordinating with
the regulating Agencies, including ADOT, BLM, US Forest
Service, and FHWA.
Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans are being
prepared in accordance with NPDES requirements of Section
402 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to prevent pollutants and
sediment from entering streams in the project area.
Erosion control measures have been developed to protect
resources and minimize sediment during and after
construction. Section 404 permits are another aspect of
involvement with this multi-faceted project. |
