Rose Garden LanePeoria, Arizona SAGE was the Landscape Architect and Environmental Lead on the Rose Garden Lane project. This project provides 100-year storm protection to neighborhoods south of Rose Garden Lane, from the Agua Fria River to 95th Avenue. The project was a partnership between the City of Peoria and the Flood Control District of Maricopa County and included storm drains, open channels, public involvement, right-of-way identification, utility relocation and landscape. SAGE prepared and coordinated the CWA Section 404 permit and mitigation. Additionally, SAGE coordinated the plant salvage and transplant through the landscape construction contract. The project also included a pre-design phase for the storm drain and/or open channel on Rose Garden Lane and 107th Avenue. Other considerations included coordination with the proposed Lake Pleasant Parkway project, environmental and archaeological impacts, Arizona State Land Department issues and impacts to existing neighborhoods and landscape areas.
