Gila Southwest Ambulatory Care Center

Project includes landscape for a new health care center on the Gila River Indian Reservation. In keeping with the healthcare function of the building, the landscape will provide a comfortable and harmonious setting for patients, their families, visitors and staff. To accomplish this goal the plan will use native plants, materials reminiscent of nature and patterns reflective of basketry. The majority of the plants will be species found within the Sonoran desert with priority given to local plants. The courtyard plantings will include plants that provide sensory interest through colors, forms or textures. Plants with scented blossoms or leaves will be included.
